CAMRA Country Pub of the Year 2009

Welcome to the home of

The White Hart - Ludford.

An Oasis of Taste in the Lincolnshire Wolds

The White Hart sits at the eastern edge of the village of Ludford at the side of the church, deep in the lovely Lincolnshire Wolds where some of the finest countryside and views in the county can be enjoyed.  The White Hart is a true free house that actively supports and promotes micro breweries and local ales having up to six constantly changing beers kept in excellent condition at all times.

Everything about the White Hart is traditional with a traditional food menu and open fires in the season, with no juke box or fruit machines to spoil the visit.

The landlord and landlady - Mick and Jenny will always guarantee a warm welcome to the weary traveller requiring vitals and a tranquil place to sit and while away a few hours.  Jenny provides wholesome home made food freshly cooked each time from her kitchen and has an interest in cheeses which means there are always some 'different' ones on the menu.

There is excellent walking close by and some time in the future we hope to have our Bed and Breakfast accomodation up and running.

The Louth Cask Ale Drinker describes the pub as "a veritable gem with an extensive collection of pump clips which provide the visitor with a history of beers previously sold in the pub."  You will be suprised by the amount of beers sold over the years.

The Louth Cask Ale Drinker continues - "Mick has what we would call a 'quirky' humour which makes a visit to the White Hart a must for all ale drinkers."

Please see the links to the left for our opening times and food times.
